Risthey has come up for unity, trust and happiness among people.

Risthey is a registered, non-funded, non-profit, Non-Government Organization (NGO) headquartered at Hyderabad, which engages itself primarily in:

• Creating awareness about the child custody rights, shared parenting, gender biased issues(Legal Terrorism) and senior citizen issues, going on in the country through various methods like television shows on news channels, protests, road shows, press conferences, article publication, online blogging to name a few.
• We are husbands, mothers, sisters, brothers, fathers, brothers-In-law and sisters-In-law of the innocent victims falsely implicated in misused laws.
• Legal provisions that are made for the protection and empowerment of people in India are being grossly misused leading to the violation of human rights. Since in India mostly innocent people are being subjected to severe social and legal discrimination under these laws.
• We are dedicated in putting efforts to the creation of a judicial system, legislative system, and public awareness, which promotes equal rights for ALL parties affected by divorce and the breakup of a family keeping in mind the best interests of the child.
• We are here to help, protect the victims and raise our collective voice against the misuse of these laws (498A, DV act, DP etc). We are against the law that makes criminals out of Law Abiding Citizens (498A, DV act, DP etc).
• We are here to raise our voices to get information through RTI Act 2005 (Right To Information Act).

     Risthey is committed and united in fostering initiative which can enhance the cause of peace and justice in our society. We endeavor to uproot and eradicate all forms of preconceptions which diminish the inherent worth of any individual. We import the service to understand the value of our fellow citizens, there by we hope to construct a society in which freedom, justice and happiness prevails. Our main theme is to mutual understand of one and other in a prejudice world. We are here to make a safe, fair and open society.

Our aim is not to support any particular political agenda, but to press for measures to be taken to ensure the survival welfare and dignity of the people regardless of the culture distinct affiliations, ethnicity and creed. We are living hard times, where we all need each other for those that are in need. To help in improving the quality of life of all citizens through service that would raise public awareness about issues important to our daily lives. We are surpassing all obstacles on the way of our forward journey. We work with other like minded groups and hold regular meeting, rallies, and vigils to educate and advocate for the peace and social justice. We follow egalitarian and collective principles, because we want to challenge the prejudices that we see in our society. Since this community is a vital force in the eradication of injustice and committed to extend effective service to one and all. Highlighting the growing number of false dowry cases by which many families were and are being dragged behind bars, innocent people, senior citizens and children.

At the other end of the spectrum, we are also looking at other completely different ways of custodial rights of children, senior citizen rights for their welfare. We help in enabling people to sustain themselves, which will often involve a package of support for children, for parents, for senior citizens and every individuals of society.
